Improvement Devlog #2
Here's an actual devlog for the day!
First of all, controls should work with the game! Feel free to message me if this new version of the game doesn't support controller input from you.
Second, some visual effects and hitbox sizes have been changed to fit better in-screen and make things pop better. That along with some minor changes to controls and the size of gems and your fist should make it easier to boost your score and not skip your final score on accident at the end.
Third and finally, I added enemies! Taking damage either takes you down a combo level or ends the game. Hitting enemies deals damage based on your combo level and they drop gems when hit and killed.
I plan to make more enemies to look at what enemies in this game could be like, but I'm also planning to make different difficulties for the game and have something like a "Vibing" mode where there aren't enemies. I am also painfully aware I don't have the best sound design and plan to rectify that before the end of the jam.
